Business Studies Teacher

(potential for additional responsibility – please see Head of Work-Related Learning vacancy)

Permanent role, Full Time 40 hours per week.

Required for 24 August 2026

 

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an outstanding Business Studies teacher to join our Secondary Team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching GCSE and A Level Business Studies, with the ability to teach Economics considered highly desirable. Experience in teaching BTEC Business, particularly at Level 3, is also an advantage. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking, and committed to continuous learning. The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated by challenges, and an excellent classroom practitioner.

 

Please Note:

There is potential for additional responsibility within the school which would be renumerated. 

 

 We are looking for certain qualities:

  • A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have relevant experience as a teacher of Business Studies in a UK or International School following the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of enterprise or financial literacy programmes.
  • Willingness to contribute to wider school initiatives and extra-curricular life.
  • Desirable, but not essential, be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of permit that allows work and residence in Luxembourg
